French language instruction at Kleinburg Christian Academy begins in Grade One.

In the primary grades, students begin to develop an appreciation and ear for French, one of Canada’s two official languages. Emphasis at this level is vocabulary, taught through a variety of activities and songs.

At the junior level, daily authentic and meaningful speaking opportunities help build a growing confidence and ability. Strategies to improve French language learning are highlighted and awareness of Francophone communities heightens student respect for cultural diversity.

Our French programme meets the new 2013 Ontario French as a Second Language Curriculum and has been fully implemented.
